Speech and Language Annotator (9 month contract- Part time / Full time openings)

Pay: $18–$19 hour (W2, depending on experience)
Location: Bellevue, WA 98004
Duration: 9 months (potential for extension)
Hours: Mon to Friday

Job Description:
In support of our commitment to enabling, expanding and enhancing interactions with our customers, this client is now developing speech and language technology. We are seeking experienced full and part-time Speech and Language Annotators to transcribe and annotate speech. The candidate will work under the direction of the Annotation Program Manager and must be capable of delivering high quality under aggressive time constraints.
Specifically, the Annotator will:

• Provide hands-on transcription and annotation services.
• Translate established guidelines into daily work practices.
• Work with management on workload scheduling and deliverables.
• Ability to show your exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly analyze data to draw and present conclusions with actionable steps.
• Ability to work efficiently on tasks while maintaining a high-level of accuracy.
• Ability to multitask across several speech domains and work autonomously with minimum direction.

Job Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED.
• Native language speaker in one of the following languages: Canadian French, French, Dutch, Hindi, Japanese, Arabic
• Excellent English skills. Must be bilingual.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to type 50 wpm.
• Communication skills and experience working with technical teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment's
• Previous transcription experience is preferred (nice to have)
• Previous annotation experience is preferred (nice to have)
