We’re partnering with an exceptional school district in Weld County, CO, searching for a Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction for elementary-aged students with Autism. This role begins in August 2025 and runs through the 2025-2026 school year.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support students through evidence-based strategies and personalized learning within a collaborative and student-centered environment.

Position Details:

Location: In-person, Weld County, CO (no hybrid or remote options)
Start Date: August 2025
End Date: May 2026
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Grade Levels: Elementary School, K-5

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and cultivate an inclusive educational environment for elementary-aged students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

• Implement evidence-based strategies, such as visual supports, structured routines, and social skills training, to promote student independence and engagement.

• Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet a wide range of academic and developmental needs.

• Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and related service providers to support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure cohesive student support.

• Track student progress through data collection and maintain accurate documentation and communication with families and staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Primary/Secondary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.

• Special Education teaching license from the Colorado Department of Education.

• Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in an academic or classroom-based setting.

• Elementary school experience preferred.
