Fire Alarm & Intrusion Technician – Virginia (Richmond or Surrounding Areas)
Pay: $28–$38/hr depending on experience
Type: Contract-to-Hire (probationary period before permanent hire)
Schedule: Full-time | Local travel within Virginia
We’re seeking a skilled Fire Alarm & Intrusion Technician to join a growing team supporting commercial service and installation projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and takes pride in quality work and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Install, program, and service fire alarm and intrusion systems in commercial facilities
Conduct inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance
Troubleshoot panels and wiring for systems such as Silent Knight, Honeywell, or Bosch
Interface professionally with clients and provide clear documentation of work
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in fire alarm or intrusion systems
Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
Familiarity with NFPA 72 and applicable local codes
NICET I–II or FASA/BASA preferred but not required
Must have valid driver’s license and clean background
Contract-to-Hire Details:
This position begins as a contract role to ensure mutual fit and performance. After the probationary period, you’ll convert to a W-2 employee with full benefits—including health, dental, and vision coverage paid 100% by the company, with family plans fully covered.
