Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Angels Camp, California. This role supports the Finance Director and other key stakeholders by overseeing essential financial and administrative functions with a high level of attention to detail. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within culturally sensitive environments. Responsibilities: - Prepare agendas, meeting packets, and detailed minutes for Finance Board meetings, ensuring accurate documentation. - Monitor and track Board motions, directives, and consensus to facilitate effective decision-making. - Coordinate travel arrangements and conference logistics for staff to ensure seamless execution. - Maintain and organize original corporate and grant-related documents for easy access and compliance. - Assist in compiling financial reports and analyses to support operational and strategic planning. - Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, to create high-quality presentations and spreadsheets. - Manage time-sensitive tasks with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. - Handle sensitive materials and information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality. - Provide additional support to the finance department as needed, including occasional travel. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. - Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software systems, including ERP platforms and tools like ADP, BlackLine, and Concur. - Strong skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, auditing, and general accounting functions. - Familiarity with administrative assistance tasks, including minute-taking and typing at a minimum of 55 words per minute. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. - Experience in supporting finance departments or similar roles is preferred. - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism. - Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure all responsibilities are completed effectively.
