Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner to customers while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a customer-oriented approach.
Duties:
·Help Retail Customers
·Assist Warehouse Manager in pulling DODDs for delivery.
·Deliver batteries to National Account dealers.
·Focus on customer service.
·Invoice all units that fail to last the full warranty period.
·Rotate batteries.
·Collect junk batteries.
·Maintain the route by keeping displays clean and keeping dealer list up to date.
·Service each dealer.
·Run Hot Shots in a quick and efficient manner.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to operate various delivery vehicles such as vans, box trucks, and tractor-trailers
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus
- Experience with refrigerated trailers is advantageous
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy packages and navigate various delivery routes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts.
