DESCRIPTION:

**Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required**
**May float to Med-Surg**

ASAP START

Additional Requirement: Must be able to read strips

Accepts 1st time travelers!

Required Certifications:
ACLS
BLS
NIH (stroke certified)
Patient Population:
Adolescents - Geriatrics

Must be able to work in Telemetry setting. Must have experience with vents, groin care and chest tubes.

Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills:
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Management of dysrhythmias
Telemetry - on the unit monitoring
Telemetry - remote monitoring

Required Cardiovascular skills:
Post Cardiac Angiogram
Post MI
Pre/Post Cardiac Cath
Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery

Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills:
Blood Product Administration
Central line care/management
PICC line management
Starting IVs

Required Medication skills:
Heparin Protocols
Manage Cardiac drips- no titration
Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration

Required Respiratory/Thoracic Skills:
Care of Chronic/Long-term Ventilated Patient
Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac
External CPAP/BIPAP
High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
Nasal Cannula
Non-invasive airway management
Oxygen face masks
Tracheostomy Management
