**Job Title:** Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)

**Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

**Contract Length:** 13 Weeks

**Location:** Based on a 75-mile travel radius; no local candidates within this radius.

**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing ventilators and performing pulmonary function tests (PFTs). This position requires a proactive and dedicated professional to work in a fast-paced environment, covering weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients.
- Operate and manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests (PFTs), as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress in accordance with facility protocols.
- Serve as the sole therapist on weekends.

**Qualifications:**
- Credentialed as a Respiratory Care Therapist (CRT or RRT) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Ability to perform ventilator management and PFTs is preferred.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and either PALS or NRP (must be active/in-hand prior to start).
- State license or compact license required; pending licenses may be acceptable.
- Travel experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

**Working Conditions:**
- Scrub Color: Hunter Green
- Rotate through weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to handle a variety of patient cases and conditions.

- Include a valid state license and copy of certifications.
- Minimum of two manager or charge references within the past two years.
- Confirm the permanent address is greater than 100 miles from the facility.
