Intezra Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer / VMware System Administrator III with a strong background in vSphere Administration and Windows System Administration . The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and patching virtual machines (VMs) across multiple disparate environments.

This role is responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting VDI solutions using VMware Horizon , including the operation of virtual desktops, performance optimization, and ensuring security across all VDI environments.

Responsibilities: 

• Experience with VMware vSphere, including vCenter and ESXi
• VMware Horizon VDI experience supporting a geographically dispersed enterprise
• Skilled in creating Microsoft Windows Golden Images
• Familiarity with HP thin clients and HP Device Manager (HPDM)
• Experience with VMware App Volumes, including application capturing, troubleshooting, and VMware Unified Access Gateway
• Capacity planning for geographically distributed, enterprise-level systems; converting requirements into technical implementation plans
• Design, deploy, and configure VMware Horizon VDI solutions; manage and maintain virtual desktop images, templates, and pools
• Monitor VDI environment performance, troubleshoot issues, optimize resource utilization, and implement security measures to safeguard virtual desktops, data, and user access

Skills Requirements: 

• A ctive TS/SCI with Polygraph 
• Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• CWIP Level I required at start

Preferred Experience: 

• Experience with VMware vSphere (vCenter & ESXi)
• VMware Horizon VDI experience
• Proficient with HP thin clients and HP Device Manager (HPDM)
• Experience with VMware App Volumes
• Familiarity with VMware Unified Access Gateway

Salary at Intezra is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $210,000 - $260,000 (annualized USD).
