Job Description

A nationally recognized engineering firm with offices across the U.S. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for its Woodland Hills, CA office. This full-time role is ideal for someone with 10+ years of experience in building design who's ready to lead projects and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment.

The firm works on a wide range of projects including commercial, institutional, and government buildings. The ideal candidate will be a licensed PE or SE with strong experience in steel, concrete, and wood structures , and a solid understanding of structural analysis and detailing.

Responsibilities:

• Lead structural design efforts for buildings using steel, concrete, and wood
• Perform and oversee analysis, detailing, and coordination with project teams
• Manage engineers and drafters to deliver high-quality drawings
• Support construction phases with responsive engineering input
• Maintain client relationships and contribute to department growth

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering
• PE or SE license (any state); CA SE preferred
• 10+ years of experience in building design
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience with ETABS, RISA, SAFE
• Bonus: Experience with DSA, OSHPD, and multi-discipline project management
