Senior Salesforce Marketing & Data Cloud Business Analyst

Full-time position

Raleigh, NC

SMART IT People has an exciting full-time opportunity in Raleigh, NC for a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to help drive business and process improvements leveraging Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS)
  • 5+ years' experience in a Salesforce Business Analyst or Consulting role
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud and/or Data Cloud experience
  • Salesforce Business Analyst Certification, or commitment to obtain in 3 months from start date.
  • Must be a people person, engaging and outgoing.

Nice to have skills:

  • Understanding of Salesforce and how integrations work at a high level.
  • Experience with Lucid Chart, Vizio or other software.
  • Experience with agile development tools such as Copado, JIRA
  • Experience with Life Sciences Industry
  • Certified Agile Business Analyst

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Previous experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical resources
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in Confluence and Jira
  • Ability to perform Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud administrative / configuration tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders

  • Up to 20%

Job description:

  • Using critical thinking, you will approach each project pragmatically with a drive to solve problems with consistent clear communication cross functionally.
  • As a key contributor to the team’s success, this role will be integral in identifying process and technological improvements and efficiencies and then helping with the implementation, administration and governance of these.
  • Develop and maintain cross functional business relationships to ensure system and process needs are being addressed and maintained.
  • Collaborate with cross functional global teams sharing best practices for process improvements.
  • Evaluate existing business processes identifying areas for improvement and recommending process enhancements and automation opportunities.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and goals and work with the solution architect to translate them into Salesforce solutions.
  • Convert Salesforce solutions into detailed Epics and User Stories within Jira for clear and actionable development tasks.
  • Assist in quality assurance and contribute to the testing and debugging of solutions as needed.
  • Create user guides / help documents for owned assets.
  • Participate in technical team meetings and provide updates to the team as needed.
  • Act as the primary Global Administrator and SME for Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
  • Maintain and share best practices and standards for these tools across Global Regions.
