Job Description

We are looking for a  Roof Estimator  to join our team. The role is a fully remote role for our Corporate Division. The  Estimator  position is responsible for analyzing existing commercial roof take offs without ever setting foot on a roof or leaving the comfort of your office.

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing complete, accurate estimates for all sizes of roofing contracts and contract types.

Responsibilities:

• Engage cooperatively with company staff, including Executives, salespeople, Superintendents technicians, and Foreman to assemble documentation, prepare estimates and value engineer roof solutions.
• Review site or technician documents then defines scope of work and pricing.
• Execute take-offs of technician documents and utilize computer applications to expedite cost analysis of material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Engage cooperatively with Project Managers, Production Superintendents and Foreman to ensure accurate estimate and the best value solution. Assist with completion of project paperwork, warranties, and building owner requirements.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, supervisors, field inspectors, and customers.
• Report to company offices and field locations as required for scheduled meetings.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Three (3+) years in commercial roofing
• Project Estimating 2 years or more.
• High School Diploma (Required)
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, and Outlook) and database software.
