About the Role:
This part-time virtual position (15 hours per week) offers the opportunity to deliver essential school psychology services to students throughout Michigan. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, providing counseling services, and collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Your work will play a key role in supporting student growth and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine special education eligibility
Provide virtual counseling and crisis intervention services to students and families
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and BIPs based on individual student needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to promote positive educational outcomes
Qualifications:
Masters degree or higher in School Psychology, Psychology, or a related field
Active and valid Michigan School Psychologist certification
Michigan Department of Education (MDE) approval as a School Psychologist
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school-based setting
Prior experience providing virtual services preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
