Overview Operations Supervisor - Airline Catering at LSG Sky Chefs. This role supports a fast-paced production and transportation environment, managing a team focused on delivering a quality product to customers. The incumbent will monitor and engage employees in safety and performance initiatives. Base pay $68,000.00/yr - $78,000.00/yr Note: This range is provided by LSG Sky Chefs; your actual pay will be based on skills and experience. Please speak with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities Ensure the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, and directed, and that all delivery times are met. Schedule and control staff to meet labor productivity and overtime targets. Ensure compliance with government and regulatory standards (FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, HACCP, etc.). Document and follow up on department processes to implement improvements. Ensure on-time and accurate production and/or catering for all flights. Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Perform other duties as deemed necessary. Leadership responsibilities Guide, motivate, and develop staff within HR policies. Model company values and management principles within the department. Manage productivity hours and costs; initiate corrective actions when deviations occur. Participate in and support company initiatives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety, and Production systems. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge required. 1-3 years of related work experience requested. Problem solving and leadership skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to develop and lead others to achieve productivity goals. Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA and EPA regulations. Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills; ability to multi-task. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
