Our firm is seeking a legal assistant to join our Roseland, NJ office. This is a hybrid role - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Our support staff is the foundation of our law firm, and this individual will have the opportunity to join this dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Finalizing correspondence, reports, memos, and court filings
• Answering telephone calls, emails, and faxes
• Ordering office supplies
• Requesting Expense Checks
• Maintaining Filing
• Preparing Motions
• Daily intake of attorney mail
• Maintenance of attorney calendars for court appearances, due dates, and client meetings

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience working in a law office in New Jersey
• Must be a true team player
• Must maintain a professional demeanor
• Strong ability to maintain communication and communicate in a professional manner
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Past experience with a document management system (NetDocuments preferred)
