What You'll Be Doing
Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures.
Meet daily production goals by understanding and performing all aspects of plant operations.
Perform general plant maintenance and repairs.
Conduct routine plant maintenance including greasing, checking oil levels, and shoveling under conveyors and spillage areas.
Operate equipment including skid loaders, plant truck.
Communicate current job information with contractors and drivers.
What Are We Looking For
Basic computer skills.
Solid mechanical skills to perform general maintenance.
Ability to operate plant equipment.
General knowledge of hot mix asphalt business and operation.
Ability to learn basic welding and torch operation.
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
