We are immediately hiring for an Entry-Level Analytical Lab Technician here in the Cleveland, Ohio area! This is a long-term career opportunity for someone with a Bachelors degree in a scientific field (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc.), and will primarily be performing testing on sanitizers, lotions, or similar types of products.

Job Description:

The role involves performing basic wet chemistry techniques in process and final testing labs. You will be responsible for preparing and running samples of products through analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, IR, Titration (both manual with burette and automated), Density, FTIR, Viscosity, and pH. Additionally, you will support R&D with pilot plant samples and work based off of the LIMS system.

• Perform basic wet chemistry techniques for in process and final testing labs.
• Prepare and run samples through analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, IR, Titration, Density, FTIR, Viscosity, and pH.
• Support R&D with pilot plant samples.
• Work based off of the LIMS system.
• Maintain documentation and follow SOPs.
• Collaborate with team members while performing independent tasks.
• Collect samples from the receiving area for testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a science field (can be entry level)

OR

• Associate degree in a science field (with chemistry coursework) with 1-2 years of industry lab experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $21.53/hr.
