The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a  Dining Room Attendant to join our seasonal food and beverage team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

A Dining Room Attendant is responsible for preparing and servicing permanent and portable bars throughout the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Position is Seasonal for the Winter, perfect for someone seeking to earn extra income while working at an amazing beach front location, with an exciting and fun team!

As a Dining Room Attendant, you would be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Classification:  Seasonal

Shift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate:  The pay rate for this role is 21.01 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

• Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
• Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
• Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
• Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Maintains stock and cleanliness of stations.
• Serves guests beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience.
• Transports all dirty tableware to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• County of San Diego Food Handlers Card is required
