This person will report to the Senior Director, Marketing & Product Management. This position is responsible for managing, developing, coordinating and launching new entries into the Compact Tractor space. The responsibilities would also include managing the P&L vertical for this business, work closely with Product Development, Sales, Service to develop Regional and Dealer level GTM strategies and tactics and coordination with the supplier and manufacturer in a key liaison capacity. This individual will be a key member of the Marketing team and will work across functional areas with all departments ensuring our “end to end” value proposition is developed and implemented from launch, sales and support resulting in business growth and profitability.

  • Develop and manage the Compact Tractor P&L business to ensure financial and growth objectives are met or exceeded while managing and maintaining within the agreed budget parameters
  • Work with Finance & Sales to develop forecast, pricing and incentives programs to meet our growth and profitability goals
  • Work and engage continuously cross-functionally with sales, product development, service, finance, marketing, parts, operations, supply chains and other key areas to gather inputs, insights and support to build the business growth and support plans
  • Lead and assist with management of product launches together with Sales, Product Development, Finance and other marketing functions
  • Lead & coordinate with marketing / agencies on all product support and marketing materials development including advertising, website / digital channels, literature and POP
  • Lead, design and develop and implement multi-level advertising plans, promotion planning and dealer engagement strategies – including the product launch at dealer meetings
  • Create branding and communication for targeted marketing initiatives in strong collaboration with respective marketing functions
  • Support dealer training development for product, sales, and support
  • Work with Regional Sales Managers to ensure Coop utilization is high and marketing effectiveness is executed at the dealer market level
  • Prepare, support & assist in preparation of annual plan and financial budgets in cooperation with sales & marketing teams
  • Analyze the compact tractor market, gather customer insights, competitive market intel, specifications and develop our positioning strategy and establish new markets of entry for growth
  • Generate consumer insights, market research, customer focus groups, and benchmark best practices and translate learning’s into successful brand initiatives via industry analysis, competitive insights and market research
  • Ensure overall marketing strategy is implemented correctly, modifying if necessary to accommodate local issues/sensitivities

REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must possess Masters degree (MBA preferred) and experience in the following elements required:

  • 3-5+ years product development, sales, branding, marketing, product skills, knowledge and experience
  • Ability to develop strategic business and tactical plans with detailed market analysis
  • Ability to work in a flat organization and matrix business
  • Ability to decipher information to develop clear understanding of competitor activity and consumer behavior
  • Excellent written and speaking communication skills, including the ability to compose and edit all forms of business communications
  • In-depth understanding of Rural America
  • Ability to work creatively with strong problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple, changing priorities and demands
  • Ability to work in a team environment and must possess relentlessly high standards and customer focus
  • Negotiating skills and strong interpersonal skills to influence cross functional team decisions
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language well is required.
  • Travel required up to 40%
