Job Title: Citrix Admin

Technical:
Assist in the configuration, deployment, and management of Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
Strong understanding of Citrix architecture and components, including StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, and Citrix Workspace.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Citrix applications, UPM and infrastructure.
Participate in the installation, maintenance, and upgrades of Citrix-related software and hardware.
Experience with monitoring tools and performance metrics related to Citrix environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Citrix solutions with existing IT infrastructure. Implement various changes and issues in Citrix infrastructure with minimal user interruption.
Good networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewall communications, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server environments.
Strong knowledge of Citrix ADC (formerly NetScaler). Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS for cloud-based solutions like Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD).
Required Skills and competencies:
Support end-users by resolving Citrix-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner to meet response and resolution SLA.
Work with users and other team members to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with environment and applications running in the environment.
Document procedures and create knowledge base articles for common issues and resolutions.
Strong troubleshooting and people skills in Citrix and end users related issues.
Implement best practices for Citrix policies, load balancing, and security configurations.
Take care of all day-to-day Citrix environment with pro-active health checks.Develop PowerShell scripts to proactively keep the environment healthy with automation ideas and implementations.
Support and remediate various vulnerabilities in the environment and come up with long term remediation plans to minimize them.
